Kids' Trick, Trunk, or Treat at Maple Place
Time & Location
About the Event
Laona Area Chamber of Commerce and Maple Place Inc. are partnering to host the first-ever Trick-or-Treat AND Trunk-or-Treat event for kids of Laona and all local and surrounding communities...and we are staying open an hour later for trick-or-treaters! (We will be open 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM!)
How does it work?
Spaces inside Maple Place Inc.'s first and second floors will be available to any and all adults in Laona and our surrounding communities who wish to participate in handing out candy for trick-or-treaters on Halloween and who wish to be in a more central location; decorate your space as festive as you like and be in a central location for handing out candy!
Kids will enter the building on the building's west side (Linden Street), go up and through the building's 2nd floor trick-or-treating, come back down the south staircase and out the front door...along to the east side of the building where the trunk-or-treat awaits them!
What is a trunk-or-treat, you ask?
In an attempt to provide a safer, community-based environment that is also more centrally located for kids, adults can participate by parking cars in a row alongside the building's east wall. Their trunks hold the candy...kids go along the rows of cars and "trunk-or-treat" for goodies!
Interested in participating as a candy-handler or would like more information? Contact the Laona Area Chamber of Commerce at (715) 902-0810, email@example.com, or Facebook Messenger for more details or to reserve a space (spaces are free but donations toward sponsoring the event are always appreciated).
*Participants' spots must be reserved by Sunday, October 27th, and setup of spaces must be completed by Tuesday, October 29th.*
